Director of Demand Generation

Our client is an innovative software startup that is changing the way businesses communicate by generating awareness and offering a suite of communication products to market. On their behalf, we are actively searching for a savvy Director of Demand Generation to join the firm’s San Francisco team. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of innovative marketers and work cross-functionally with global partners to create influential B2B marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience driving demand for enterprise software solutions and a proven record of leading successful, multi-faceted campaigns. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Responsible for ensuring the success of a three-person demand generation team and growing it as needed
  • Plan the demand generation budget and ensure that funds are properly distributed to ensure maximum ROI
  • Create and qualify leads through lead-generation initiatives including SEM, SEO, content marketing, nurture programs, partner marketing, social media, email campaigns, webinars and other MQL and SQL opportunities
  • Manage agency relationships and track contractors
  • Act as the liaison for the Demand Generation team with Sales and Engineering teams
  • Report campaign progress to key internal stakeholders
  • Use analytical data and marketing metrics to create groundbreaking B2B marketing campaigns and measure their success
  • Lead cross-functional partnerships to identify target customers and markets and create effective strategies that drive growth

ABOUT YOU
  • BA or BS from a top-tier university
  • 7+ years of B2B technology marketing experience (SaaS preferred)
  • 3+ years of acting in a lead or management capacity
  • 5+ years of campaign creation and response analysis
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication 
  • Successful track record of driving demand for enterprise software and services
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and drive collaborative communication
  • Strong analytical skills; able to understand complex metrics and derive strategy from them
